NextGen Hockey School is a Toronto-based development program for young players who are serious about getting better. We bring the standards, structure, and competitive edge of elite minor hockey to every athlete who steps on our ice.
Toronto, Ontario

Our story
NextGen was founded on a simple belief: young players develop fastest when they're coached at the highest standard, in an environment that puts them first. Too many kids get lost in programs built around winning games instead of building players.
We do it differently. Our sessions are intentional, our feedback is honest, and our expectations are high — because that's what it takes to compete at the next level. From first strides to elite tournament play, we meet every athlete where they are and push them toward where they want to go.
The result is a program that develops complete players: skilled, competitive, and genuinely in love with the game.

What we stand for
Four principles shape everything we do — on the ice, in the room, and in how we develop every player who joins NextGen.
Every drill, rep, and shift is built around long-term player growth — not short-term scoreboard wins. We coach the player, then the result follows.
We teach players to thrive under pressure. Battles, game situations, and a winning standard prepare them for the moments that matter most.
Edges, hands, hockey IQ, and skating mechanics taught the way elite programs teach them — with detail, repetition, and real feedback.
The best players are the ones who can't get enough of the ice. We protect the joy that keeps kids coming back season after season.
